DUI Care’s specialists in Florida help make this tough process easier for you by:
Acquiring your ignition interlock device.
The Ignition Interlock Device (IID) will combine your breath alcohol testing with the ignition system in your vehicle. Prior to starting your vehicle you will be required to submit a breath sample in the mouthpiece of the interlock device. This will test for alcohol present in your system. Once you pass the test, you will be able to start your vehicle. The device itself costs about $3 per day which rounds out to just under $100 per month. The total price may be higher or lower depending on the duration your device needs to be installed for or depending on the extra features that may be required on your device. DUI Care has partners that are top-rated interlock device providers so our clients receive pricing specials to help ease some of the costs. You will receive a free installation with rebate and other offers when you call (833) 989-1443.
Quoting SR-22 Insurance.
Obtaining SR-22 insurance is often required after committing a DUI in Florida. This type of insurance is a high risk insurance for people that are convicted which in turn is given to the DOT for proof that you meet all liability requirements in Florida. Costs for SR-22 will vary based off of the convicted persons driving history and vehicle type. DUI Care partners with top providers in Florida to ensure the best price available for our customers. Treatments, Classes and Assessments
The next steps. A lot of times after being convicted of a DUI in Florida, you will be required to take an alcohol evaluation screening and possibly a series of alcohol related classes. Most times, the evaluation screening lasts for about 1-2 hours and can cost anywhere from $100-150. The cost for the alcohol screening will be separate from the costs of the classes that you may be required to take. To find out if you may be required to partake in either treatments, classes, or assessments call our experts at (833) 989-1443 to get started today.
